The story
Behind the production.
An editorial portrait series capturing the player before the player — quiet confidence, shot to magazine standard.
The challenge
A portrait that had to do two jobs: feel editorial enough for press, and personal enough for the player's own channels.
The approach
One light, one backdrop, three looks. We shot tight on the face early when energy was fresh, then opened up for kit and context shots. Every frame was graded to a consistent warm neutral so the series holds together as a set.
The outcome
The portraits ran across league socials and the player's own profile, and the look became the template for the rest of the Spotlight series.
